While previous years focused on a broad mix, the 2026 standard in the SOS set has been streamlined to provide a higher concentration of "Booster Fun" cards and playable Rares. This display of 30 packs is the perfect entry point into the deepest secrets of Arcavios, ensuring a balanced experience whether you are drafting with friends or upgrading your decks.

Inside every Secrets of Strixhaven Play Booster

Based on the latest technical specifications from Wizards of the Coast for 2026, each pack contains 14 cards distributed across the following slots:

• Guaranteed Rare/Mythic Rare: 1 slot dedicated to the set's most powerful cards.

• New "Wildcard" Slots: 1-3 slots that can contain anything from Common to Mythic Rare – including the coveted Mystical Archive cards.

• Guaranteed Mystical Archive: Every pack in SOS now features a dedicated slot for a powerful Instant or Sorcery with unique artwork.

• Traditional Foil Slot: 1 shimmering card of any rarity (now with an increased chance for the "Silver Scroll" foil treatment).

• Land Slot: 1 land card (33% chance for beautiful Full-Art "Archive" lands).

• Special Guests & The List: In 2026, the drop rate for Special Guest cards in SOS packs has been adjusted, appearing more frequently in the Common slot compared to previous years.
