Every Play Booster pack contains at least one foil card — and it can absolutely be a Foil Rare or Foil Mythic Rare.
It’s even possible to get more than one foil in a single pack.

And it doesn’t stop there: you can pull multiple rares thanks to three different rare slots:

• Wildcard slot
• Rare slot
• “The List” slot

So there are several ways to hit rare cards in a Play Booster.

And wait — there’s more!
One of the common cards may be replaced with a card from The List, which can also be a rare.
The List is a curated selection of cards from across Magic’s history, printed in their original form (including art, frame, and expansion symbol), plus a small Planeswalker symbol in the lower-left corner.
