When you see terms like 4‑Pocket and 9‑Pocket, they refer to how many cards each page can hold. A 4‑Pocket binder has space for four cards per page, while a 9‑Pocket binder can hold nine cards per page. An 18‑Pocket binder also holds nine cards per page, but if you place two cards in each pocket back‑to‑back, you can fit double the amount — 18 cards — while still being able to see every card. This makes it easy to choose a binder that matches the size of your collection and the way you prefer to organize your Pokémon cards.

You will also come across the term Premium Pokémon binder. These binders are made as “side loaders,” meaning the cards slide in from the side. This prevents your Pokémon cards from falling out if the binder is turned upside down in a school bag or accidentally dropped.
